RRJ Chapter 20 Polar Bear Ride for 2008

Counting both members and guests, forty-two bikes and 5 cars turned out on January 1st, 2008 at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. As it was last year, the starting temperature was in the low 20's with the temperature never getting above 32 degrees. At freeway speeds, the windchill was down near zero!

While there was only patchy, leftover, snow on the ground, overpasses and bridges were icy. We may have been cold, but the fellowship was good and warm for our first official gathering and ride for 2008.
