Prison Invasion 2010!
You and your Road Riders For Jesus chapter are invited to join us!
The Boise chapter of Christian Motorcycle Association (R Wheels R His) is organizing another Prison Invasion ride. This letter is on behalf of Prison Town USA's efforts to make this a possible event. This ride will be into the minimum-security prison (the farm) and medium-security prison (the yard) in Boise on May 22 & 23, 2010. This is a once a year event that changes lives on an eternal level. We have a captive audience (so to speak) that is more receptive to hearing the word than they were before they found their bed at the "joint". If you have already participated in this ministry event, then you already know the power it has. If you haven't, you need to experience it!
This event will be pulling bikers from all over the Northwest. We promise to provide a place to stay for those that travel away from their homes for this event. This is where some of you can help even more by providing a bed, sofa or an area of your carpeted floor for them to sleep on. So if you have room, consider hosting out of town riders as a ministry.
Pray about this before committing yourself to riding into the prison. Everyone that decides to go WILL NEED to fill out a REGISTRATION FORM in order to have a background check done (paid for by Idaho Department Of Corrections). If you decide to register (triggering a background check) then consider yourself committed to this event unless there is a death in the family. Don't fill it out and decide to come only if the weather is good. That reflects badly on Prison Town USA, CMA and Christians. We are going into the prison to do battle and we go in as warriors for Christ.
Know this, the inmates look forward to this event every year and are very disappointed if we don't show up after committing ourselves. It has taken a lot of years to develop favor with Idaho Department Of Corrections and your participation helps ensure that we can continue with this ministry.
Come Do Battle With Us!
Note-1: Contact us ASAP to start the process. Your completed forms need to be back to Dave Keyes by March 22, 2010 in order for the State of Idaho to have time to process everyone's background check. Don't get left behind!!!
Note-2: You do not need to fill out or send beck the Volunteer-Agreement form. Just be sure you are familiar with it.
Note-3: There are some tighter restrictions for Sunday at the "Yard", no colors/patches even if on the back of a CMA shirt.
More information is available for those interested.
